Liverpool SOUP was born out of an admiration for the people of Liverpool who can frequently be seen going out of their way for those around them and the inspired ideas they have to strengthen the community, often put into place with nothing more than grit and determination. How can we better support those who are doing incredible things right on our doorstep?

The community crowdfunding approach was inspired by the successes of Detroit SOUP, who (since starting in 2010) have raised almost $150,000 for local projects!
